Community Transport

What is Community Transport?

Community Managed Transport is a self funded project.

This project is designed to assist frail, aged or disabled people, living in their homes, and who are unable to use other forms of transport, to access medical and therapy appointments only.

Who Can Use The Service?

  • Frail and/or Aged and/or their carers.
  • People with disabilities and/or their carers.
  • Family and individuals on low income requiring medical or therapy treatment in Albury or Wodonga.
  • People of Corryong and district, who Do Not have access to other means of transport who need transport to access local shopping.

Please Note: It is essential that at least 2 working days notice is given.


(The Co-ordinator is available Monday - Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm)


The Co-ordinator will then phone the clients and the volunteer driver to confirm their bookings two days prior to the trip to Albury/Wodonga.

What will the Program Co-ordinator need to know?
  • Your Name
  • Your Address
  • Your Telephone Number
  • If you will be accompanied by a carer
  • Whether you use mobility aids eg: Wheelchair, walking frame, etc.
  • The Date and the Time of the appointment
